Quiet Day To Give Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving

A page from an old antique book that I have had for years.  Spergon is the author.  I can not find the date it was published.

Front of the book.

Today was Thanksgiving and usually I am preparing a large meal for my family but due to work schedules, we are having 2 get togethers.  Ang and Wayne were here last week end and Lisa and family are coming in tomorrow from NE.  So today was spent cleaning and working in the studio and choring.  It was cold outside so I spent most of the day in the stuido weaving and cleaning.

I am about done with another pair of stuffed mittens.  I think they are so easy to knit up and so warm.  I have another blog in the older posts about stuffed mittens.

I did some scanning today and putting pictures in files, I had a bunch of pictures on the old disk and I am having a very tuff time getting them back.   So  I constantly am copying to newer dvds.  I also enjoy the old pictures I find and save them too...call me...whatever but I really enjoy using them in my art. Isn't the aprons cute?

This is what you see when you come up the stairs to my play area.

Oh, guess what I fixed Hubby and me for dinner today...frozen pizza.
I have really enjoyed today and it is truly a joy to stay home, no going to work...but mind you, I feel very blessed to have my job and be around the students...keeps me young and on my toes.
I pray that each of you had many blessings to be thankful.
God Bless
