Thought for today

There comes a point in your life when you realize:

Who matters,

Who never did,

Who won't anymore...

And who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past,

there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
Isn't this true?
The Window from which we look

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.

The next morning while they are eating breakfast,

The young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside.

"That laundry is not very clean", she said.

"She doesn't know how to wash correctly.

Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry,

The young woman would make the same comments.

About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a

Nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:

"Look, she has learned how to wash correctly.

I wonder who taught her this."

The husband said, "I got up early this morning and

Cleaned our windows."

And so it is with life. What we see when watching others

Depends on the purity of the window through which we look .

  1. So true.
So are you cleaning windows today? Just in case??
I have two cats that spend half their living life on my kitchen window sill (outside). The smear from wet fir and paw prints are almost etched in the glass. What I wouldn't give to have them clean and see a chipmunk clearly.

  2. I hear you...I need to continue to clean the glass before judging anyone. I have a dog that likes to lie by the patio door and a smaller house dog that scratches at the patio door to let us know he wants in...Washing windows is a constant daily job at our place.

Thank you for stopping by. I enjoy your comments so feel free to leave one if you please.
