Socks, the black ewe had a big ram lamb on Thursday, weather was really nice...now Pretty girl had hers Saturday afternoon, temp 30, wind blowing, snowing. Her first lamb was a nice big lamb and then out comes tiny girl, she looked to be about 1/2 the size of her sister. Mom butting tiny girl away but she lets her suck sometimes so I am feeding a bottle part time.One of our cows had her calf last night in the nasty weather too. The old barn was a busy place last night. Sun came out today and it got up to 46 degrees this afternoon but the wind stayed cool.
Ahhhh... I miss the lambies! They are beautiful Mom. I can't believe how active Skipper is. Minnie is so cute. I wouldn't get anything done around there because I'd be snuggling with her all of the time.
