May you, and all those you love, be so blessed and fortunate to be surrounded by people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding you.
And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving gratitude.
I ordered a new jumbo yarn ball winder and it came in the post on Saturday. |
some very bright wool yarn...Trying to decide what I shall might with it. The pictures behind are of my two oldest grandchildren several years ago. |
Ooo the winder looks fun!!! And the yarn looks so pretty! Have fun dreaming up ideas of goodies to make!
ReplyDeleteWork, work, work........but it can be fun! Hope you enjoy the winders. I remember my mother's. We used it because she had a knitting machine and it needed the smaller stubby round shaped balls. I remember taking turns winding the wool that came from the spinners.I love the colour of your wool.
ReplyDeleteThanks girls. This makes me three ball winders now. One is the small ball winder but when I am spinning for a project I couldn't wind the whole skein on one ball. My other winder is a metal one and it is very hard to turn even after I oiled it. I still like to sit and wind my yarn by hand...makes the neatest ball that way and it really sings of this is hand spun yarn...you know me!
ReplyDeleteMom, I love the new swift and winder. If only you had had those while I was there! I'm really diggin' your "little cozy corner of the world" The chairs look great in there. Love ya!
ReplyDeleteSarita, I love the winder and swift! The yarn is gorgeous!
