Sheep pictures before shearing
John Connor (named by my granddaughter) is one of the best wool producers on the place. He is also a neat guy, personable, loveable, and very friendly.
Bitsy is one of the oldest of my shetlands. Her wool makes beautiful yarn.
White Knight, one of my rams, is a nice old boy and I always am thankful when he passes his wool on to his off spring.
This is China, she is one of White Knight's off spring last year, her mother is a white shetland. Her wool actually drags the ground.
I took a walk today, planted some timothy seed in the pasture, and of course wanted to get some pictures of the wool since next Friday is shearing day.
