I have gotten so far behind blogging...busy Spring! The lambs are growing and their wool is fine and long. Most of the lambs have black noses and clean faces. This lamb is a BL and shetland cross. They are growing fast, most the size of their shetland mothers at least than 60 days.
Danny built some trellis for pole beans and tomatoe cages. The garden is wet and muddy. Got another inch of rain this morning and about every other day for the last month. It is suppose to warm up to the 90s Wednesday of this week. Whew, that hot humid weather is what puts me in the AC in the house. Work hard outside in the mornings and retire to the inside during the afternoon.
I have been taking it easy the last week due to an infection and my autoimmune disease. But I can't just sit around. so I dug out my chop stix and sanded with 150 grit sandpaper and then 1000 and then 1500 grit. Then I made tops out of clay, buttons, marbles, etc. They turned out so good that I then got out the bamboo skewers and smoothed them out with the sandpaper. Made tops for them too. This was a fun project and they are working great.
Sarita, I hope you are feeling better! I love the knitting needles!
